Background checks

Hi, does anyone have a good, inexpensive, reliable website that they use to do background checks?

We got burned once and don't want it to happen again.
It's not that we don't trust Porc’s or FSP'ers, but when renting via other means (Craigslist) one can never be too careful.

Any suggestions?

I think that the best thing to do is to talk with other porc lords and get their opinion on certain people. I don't usually use Internet background checks, but have people stay, at first, on a probationary basis, without a written lease. After a couple of months, if the housemates are happy with the newb, then we work out something long term.
