Request for short-term housing

I am a new mover. I'll be moving in late August, but I'm coming out July 18-27 to scout a place to live. I'm looking to stay in the southern-central part of NH during this week so just about anywhere in the southern half of NH will be within a day trip.

Does anyone have a room to rent for July 18-27?

Also, my ultimate goal is to buy property, but I might end up renting while I search for what I want to buy. So if anyone has a small house or apartment (but not just a room in a house) to rent for a few months (3? 6? 12?), I'll be interested in talking with you while I'm there in July.

Thanks.

Re: Request for short-term housing

We may be able to put you up at Little Minnesota. One of the guys is at summer camp (teaching boys to be responsible self-governors). I usually charge an ounce of silver per night.

Re: Request for short-term housing

I guess you don't have room for me (no replies here, no response to my email). Bummer. Thanks for the potential offer, anyway. I'll stay in a hotel.

Ron -

Thanks for the offer. It sounds and looks great. Deerfield is not as centrally located as I would like, but I'd prefer to stay with a porc than not. When will you be able to tell me for sure if you have space for me at Little Minn?

Thanks.

I probably won't know until you arrive :-) [things are in flux here right now]
You might want to check out Mackler's offerings as well.

Re: Request for short-term housing

OK. I've reserved a hotel, but if you have something available when I get there, I'll switch to your place, silver in hand. I'll check out Porc Row when I get there - it may be just what the doctor ordered.

Re: Request for short-term housing

Hey, there is a room opening up on Porc Row on Sept. 1st if you're interested.  Around $500 a month, including utilities.  This is the room I was just in so I know it's nice and spacious.  You'd be staying with Adam Mackler only, so there's just two of you in the house.  I know you're looking for your own place eventually, but if you need somewhere to stay for 2/3 months then Adam is definitely the guy you wanna talk to.  Get back to me or get a hold of him if you're interested.  He'll be more then happy to accomodate you while you get situated and look for a place of your own.
