The farmhouse is being restored after 30+
years of no year round use and has 4 bedrooms. The current residents are
Kat and me, Kira, and John C. (plus Dada half the time). The Hoyt farm
was the 3rd established in Grafton and the one remaining building was
built in 1858.
The farm is the site of Burning Porcupine and picnics throughout the summer.
We offer 2 plans.
$400/month includes all your utilities. You just clean up after yourself and help out with shoveling and feeding the wood stove.
$250+-
/month plan means you share utilities while helping us keep this place
running and participate in the Grafton Welcome Wagon. The current
residents share the workload of heavy cleaning, firewood gathering,
snow removal, and yard maintenance here at the Porcupine Recreation
Area.
We only share the house with those we know and are
friendly with, so if you are new and are interested, introduce yourself
and help us get comfortable with you.
